REPARATIONS DIALOGUE WEDNESDAY 6. P.M.
Khalifah's Booknotes on www.blogtalkradio.com
call in # 347-637-2706

THE REPARATIONS WAR CHEST
is a fund established to be a repository of cash that is needed to prosecute the Black case for Reparations.

THE REPARATIONS WAR CHEST was established by H. Khalif Khalifah, the Founder and Administrator of THE NATIONAL BLACK REPARATIONS ALLIANCE. TNBRA is an organizational member of N'COBRA (The National coalition of Black For Reparations in America). Whereas N'COBRA is a broad coalition of Blacks who believes in Reparations for Black people, the mission of TNBRA is not so broadly based. TNBRA does not believe that it is possible for Black people to obtain Freedom, Justice and Equality within the governmental structure called the United States of America. Not the ideal of Freedom that was in the mind of African ancestors who have struggle to be free of caucasian domination. We believe our most important Freedom Fighters wanted Independence and sovereignty
As a member of N'COBRA we support the right of Black people who DO BELIEVE their ideal of freedom can be realized within "the system." But that is the extent of our support for this ideal. As an independent entity of N'COBRA, we can concentrate and focus our energy for the other two choices that we Black will have upon the attainment of Reparations - 1 - Collect our Reparations and Return to Africa, or go elsewhere to practice of ideal of Freedom, Justice and Equality - 2 - Collect Reparations and Settle in one of the Five States of the United States, should a plebiscite of the people decide to establish such a Nation State.
TNBRA will sponsor accepts donation, funds from benefits, deposit it into an account and target it's use to champion the cause for Reparations. We do not believe in non-profit endeavors as the way to pay for liberation: therefore, The Reparations War Chest is a for-profit formation.

N’COBRA MEMBERS IN CHARLOTTE
        TOWN HALL MEETING

PRESS RELEASE…RELEASE IMMEDIATELY…PRESS RELEASE
Contact: H. Khalif Khalifah (704) 509-2226 khalifah@khabooks.com

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 15, 2005 – A “Common Reparations Declaration Proclamation” was read at Johnson C. Smith University, May 14, 2005. The reading was at a “Town Meeting,” sponsored by BAD.O.S.I.A (United Africans Descendants of Slavery in America). The meeting was organized by Sister Amirah F. M. Azadi, its Founder and Administrator.

Three diverse but harmonious views about reparations was presented. After former Board member of N’COBRA and recent founder of TNBRA, Khalifah gave the “classic” definitions of Reparations and compensation, community activist, Dr. Gyasi A. Folouke gave a general overview that itemized specific reasons why Black people demand Reparations.

The meeting was facilitated by N’COBRA member Ahmad Daniels. Mr. Daniels played a key role in the declaration of the United Nations that the enslavement of Black people was a “Crime Against Humanity. He was also at the meeting in Barbados when GAC (Global African Congress) was formed by some 600 Black delegates. He said that these two conferences confirm that reparations is a Human Rights issue.

Khalifah said that reparations is the arching scope under which all of our struggle for Liberation lies. He read the purpose and actual definition of reparations from the N’COBRA rules and by- laws. “Reparations is for a debt owed; the act of repairing a wrong or injury; to atone for wrongdoings; to make amends; to make one whole again; the payment of damages to repair a nation; compensation in money, land, or materials for damages.”
He then stressed the fact that reparations is a demand on a government for its abuse of a Nation or National community of people. “There will be no liberation day until there is a reparations day!” He declared.

“Compensation is similar to reparations but fundamentally different because of the ones whom the demand is made against. When an individual or class of individuals are abused by an entity within the government, when said entity is brought to justice to pay for the abuse, the payment is called compensation.” During the Questions and Answer period, a good discussion focused on ways and means by which the city of Charlotte could be moved to act on a Disclosure Bill similar to the ones that have already passed in other cities. The “bill” would compel companies doing business with the city to open their books to “disclose” whether or not they or their successor companies had benefited from the enslavement of Black people.

The meeting was the first of it’s kind in Charlotte. All of the principal speakers represent different organizations: Dr. Falouke, the Kushite Institute. Ahmad Daniels is the Facilitator for the Local Organizing Committee for the Millions More March. And Khalifah TNBRA (The National Black Reparations Alliance). And at one time all were members of the N’COBRA. All are also expected to be a part of the effort to reformulate the Charlotte Chapter. Though no one N’COBRA represented at this meeting, the Coalition was a good part of the discussion.

The next event, in Charlotte, to continue the discussion about reparations, will be the 15th Annual presentation of “Black Book Awards for Excellence in Black Literature.” Dr. Omar Reid, the Author of “Post Traumatic Slavery Disorder” will be the Keynote Speaker.

DECEMBER FAST DECLARED BY
 THE HONORABLE
ELIJAH MUHAMMAD
by H. Khalif Khalifah

-----------------------
12/1/07

This is to say to all within my reach that I still observe the fast that was declared by The Honorable Elijah Muhammad. I have observed the month of December to varying degrees of success for 33 years. I always attempt to participate in it 100% through my every word, act and deed. And though this is an impossibility, the striving have help keep me as close to the straight and narrow path that I am. I have been abundantly blessed by Allah when I forget, go into error or make a mistake. And I have concluded that the grea-test blessing of all is that I turn to The Creator, Sustainer and Cherisher of all persons, places and things for help. So after 33 years of striv-ing, I believe I am in the position in life that I have the best chance of being 100% dutiful dur-ing this month I pray for success for everyone who is participating, ob-serving or sensitive to Black Muslims during this time. Ultimately, I  fast for the power to be a better servant to African people, as we continue to struggle for “Freedom, Justice and Equality”………..Peace, Khalifah, December 1, 2007 I www. reparationswarchest.com

As U.S. political, civil and business leaders grappled with the pressing question of "what to do with the Negroes?" the newly freed Africans cried out immediately for restitution - payback for centuries of stolen labor, cultural degradation and dehumanizations. Indeed, Africans held as slaves have been struggling for a restored sense of wholeness since being brought to this country as chattel.

Other organizations and individuals have carried the demand for reparations farther into the twentieth century. Many of them have become a part of today's Reparations Campaign which is being spearheaded by N'COBRA.
